So my old housemate Kat introduced me to First Aid Kit, have seen them perform at the Union Chapel and they were lovely, as is the Union Chapel with its ice creams and what not...

This is one of their new tracks off their new album, Emmylou... The album was produced by Mike Mogis and y'all should know how much I love Bright Eyes... These Swedish ladies are very lucky, and singing about awesome people.

This lady is on the heavier side of the music scale than some of the twee stuff I've been posting lately. She is an art school drop out and her name is Hannah Clark going under the name of FOE. They're playing at Camden Barfly tonight - looks pretty awesome to me.

Oh god I feel like I'm going to fall asleep.
Have been giving The Maccabees new album a listen... I haven't really a) listened to the previous stuff and b) what I did hear I didn't think was very good. But I thought I'd give this one a chance from the nice posters and name of the album - Given to the Wild. And I think most of it's quite nice, so I'm giving it a thumbs up from my end. Not much more to say than the track 'Uknown' is awesome. However I cannot find a video - due to the newness of its release and the amount of videos on youtube of them live, playing a song the audience didn't know. Anyway...
